hutsuls and rusyns in the administrative elections

june 2008 brougth administrative elections all over romania. many hutsuls and rusyns chose romanian well established parties to represent, while some rested with the parties that represent their ethnic group.

in romania, rusyns are represented by ucrr (the cultural union of the rusyns in romania), hutsuls by ugaeh (the general union of the hutsul ethnics) and all ukrainians by udur (the democratic union of the ukrainians in romania) and uur (the union of the ukrainians in romania).
